Windies Quick Jerome Taylor arrested

West Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor has been charged with disorderly conduct following a scuffle at a bar in Jamaica.

Police sergeant Clifford Evans says Taylor became abusive after the proprietor was told to close the bar because it was past an 11pm curfew.

Evans says Taylor assaulted him when he tried to place the 25-year-old in handcuffs shortly after midnight on Thursday.

He was charged with using indecent language, resisting arrest, improper conduct and assaulting a police officer.

He was released on $US230 ($A260) bond and scheduled to appear in court on January 12.

Taylor was forced to head home early from the recent tour of Australia after suffering a back injury.

All over the bar having to be closed.
Assualting the police officer and resisting arrest are the main things that make this bad.

Will be interesting to see what happens in court.

Woudln't surprise me if the ICC got invloved about a few matches on the sidelines
