Who goes out on the field and plays the 4 quarters not the coach. If the players a club has have not got the talent to follow the game plan you can't blame the coach. You have to look to the recruiters and ask why are they bring rubbish players in to the club.

This was like Collingwood with Tony Shaw in the late 90s. Had not a lot of talent on the list and the coach ended up resigning. Same with Terry.

the club really went about it the wrong way. players asking a coach to resign is wrong. i learnt club failure = coach is blamed. club success = players take credit. after he left the team was still shit. if Richmond had better players it wouldn't matter.
