He'll go. His currently getting 400,000 dollars a year. If he goes to the Gold Coast he will get almost 4x that amount. He would become the most payed AFL player getting 1,500,000 dollars a year

But i could be wrong we will just have to wait and see.

| I think they got Nathan Ablett to try and lure Gary Ablett Jnr there. Although, while doing that they knew they were getting a player who has proven himself in the past up forward, and that can kick bags of goals. They would be a very happy side if Gary decided to come up to the Coast and play for them, but regardless of if Nathan being here helps, they would just be happy to have Nathan, a proven player. | |

| GC got a good deal with Nablett beacause he has alot of talent and he was off contract/retired. But no doubt that one of the main reasons that GC got him was beacause they want Gablett | |

| Yeah as I said, that thought would of always been in there heads. Although as I also said, even if they do not get Gablett out of it, they know they haven't waisted picking up Nablett as he is a good player and is still reasonably young. Although, imagine if they did get Gary, and ended up getting Luke as well. They would have Gary, Nathan and Luke, who are all related. I love watching brothers or cousins play with eachother, sometimes if there are no others around and it is just them two, it is great to see them connect with eachother as you know there is going to most likely be something special as they have worked together so many times before. Anyway back to the topic lol. Gold Coast had every intention of picking up Nathan Ablett with the hope it would lure Gary in, although they would always have the thought and knowledge in the back of their heads that it may not happen. I believe if there was no Gary Ablett, or if he was not as great a player, the Gold Coast side would still of picked Nathan up. He is a great talent, and knows how to play some solid football. As long as his head is in the right place he can be a very good key lead up forward. | |

| He is just a star in Geelong and everyone loves him he is so popular there and has so much respect, i don't think he will want to leave that all behind, even for the amount of money that Gold Coast are offering. | |

| Yeah, they just bond so well over at Geelong. It shows on the field, week in week out. We don't get to see what happens behind the scenes though, the boys would all love Gary. Even though I really don't like him all that much I will admit he is a great player, and the Cats players would love being around him and playing alongside him. | |

| he's contract expires soon so Gary has two choices.
Resign with Geelong and continue the Ablett legacy OR When the contract expires he makes the switch to the Gold Coast

| I think he will stay at Geelong. He will want to continue his fathers legacy down at that club. Plus Nathan will prob leave a year after playing with GC like he did with Geelong xD | |
